Elektronik ileti\u015fim ara\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131n bir vir\u00fcs gibi<br \/>\ntoplumumuzda yay\u0131lmak suretiyle \u201csosyal medya\u201d diye yeni bir kavram\u0131 hayat\u0131m\u0131za sokmas\u0131n\u0131<br \/>\nda eklersek, kitaplar okuyucular\u0131n\u0131 yahut muhtemel okurlar\u0131n\u0131 ister istemez b\u00fcy\u00fck oranda<br \/>\nkaybettiler. Bununla beraber internet d\u00fcnyas\u0131nda ve \u00f6zellikle tablet PC\u2019lerle birlikte yeni bir<br \/>\nokur kitlesinin do\u011fdu\u011funu da ekleyelim. Fakat bu \u201cyeni okur\u201d kitlesinin memleketimizde \u00e7ok<br \/>\nb\u00fcy\u00fck rakamlardan m\u00fcte\u015fekkil olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ifade etmek laz\u0131m; Avrupa i\u00e7in ayn\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yleyemeyiz,<br \/>\norada bu durum daha yayg\u0131n ve kullan\u0131labilir olma durumu da \u00e7ok etkin\u2026<br \/>\n\u201cModern\u201d hayat\u0131n art\u0131k \u201cvazge\u00e7ilmez\u201di olarak kabul g\u00f6ren ve \u00f6yle de davran\u0131lan g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz<br \/>\nirtibat vas\u0131talar\u0131n\u0131n ku\u015fkusuz yeni al\u0131\u015fkanl\u0131klar getirdi\u011fini ve bu al\u0131\u015fkanl\u0131klar\u0131n da (ister\u0002istemez) yeni his ve fikirler do\u011furdu\u011funu s\u00f6yleyebiliriz. Sadece bununla da kalm\u0131yor, kendi<br \/>\ni\u00e7inde yeni tabir ve kelimeleri hayat\u0131m\u0131za katarak etraf\u0131nda bir jargon da olu\u015fturuyor bu<br \/>\nal\u0131\u015fkanl\u0131klar. Tabi\u00ee ki bu halin mahzurlar\u0131 kadar faydalar\u0131n\u0131n da oldu\u011fu ink\u00e2r edilemez. \u0130\u015f<br \/>\nd\u00fcnyas\u0131 ve e\u011fitim ba\u015fta olmak \u00fczere bir\u00e7ok sahada faydaland\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z internetin mahzurlu<br \/>\ntaraflar\u0131 bir kenara b\u0131rak\u0131l\u0131rsa, faydas\u0131n\u0131n zarar\u0131ndan kat be kat \u00fcst\u00fcn bir noktada oldu\u011funu<br \/>\ns\u00f6ylemek laz\u0131m. Fakat ne hikmetse hemen burada cemiyetimize bakt\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131zda, bu vas\u0131talardan<br \/>\ngelen fayda ile zarar aras\u0131nda ikincisi lehine a\u015f\u0131lamaz gibi g\u00f6r\u00fcnen bir u\u00e7urum kar\u015f\u0131m\u0131za<br \/>\n\u00e7\u0131kmakta. Bu yeni teknolojilerin her an daha da<br \/>\ngeni\u015fleyerek ilerlemesinden dolay\u0131 da, ba\u015fta zaten d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmedi\u011fimizi hi\u00e7 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnemez hale<br \/>\ngeliyoruz.<br \/>\n\u201cH\u0131z \u00e7a\u011f\u0131\u201d deniliyor ya, esas\u0131nda \u201ch\u0131z\u201d\u0131n hayat\u0131 kolayla\u015ft\u0131rmas\u0131 bak\u0131m\u0131ndan m\u00fcsbet y\u00f6n\u00fcne<br \/>\nd\u00e2ir s\u00f6ylenen bu t\u00e2bir, teknolojinin bilgi ile \u00f6rt\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr\u00fclerek etraf\u0131nda belirli bir k\u00fclt\u00fcr<br \/>\nolu\u015fturdu\u011fu toplumlar i\u00e7in ge\u00e7erlidir. Bizim toplum ve k\u00fclt\u00fcr yap\u0131m\u0131zla k\u0131yaslay\u0131nca da, bahis<br \/>\nmevzuu \u201ch\u0131z\u201d m\u00fcsbet de\u011fil menfi bir \u00e7ehreye b\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcyor, faydadan \u00e7ok zarar\u0131 oluyor ister\u0002istemez. Avrupa&#8217;da y\u00fczde 21 olan kitap okuma oran\u0131, T\u00fcrkiye&#8217;de<br \/>\nsadece on binde bir.\u201d<br \/>\nYani her 20 Avrupal\u0131dan biri d\u00fczenli kitap okuyorken biz de bu rakam on binde bir; bu<br \/>\nrakamlar\u0131 birbiriyle mukayese etmek dahi herhalde ay\u0131p olur. \u201cAra\u015ft\u0131rmaya g\u00f6re, g\u00fcnde<br \/>\nortalama 6 saat televizyon izleyip 3 saat internette gezinen T\u00fcrk halk\u0131 ne yaz\u0131k ki, kitap okumaya<br \/>\ny\u0131lda sadece 6 saatini ay\u0131r\u0131yor.\u201d G\u00fcn ve y\u0131l ortalamas\u0131n\u0131n alt\u0131n\u0131 \u00e7izelim. Ve kitaplar\u0131n<br \/>\n\u201cT\u00fcrkiye&#8217;deki ihtiya\u00e7 maddeleri listesinde 235&#8217;nci s\u0131rada\u201d yer ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 bilgisi de ayr\u0131ca dikkate<br \/>\nde\u011fer san\u0131r\u0131z.<br \/>\nZaten istatistik\u00ee olarak iyi bir derecemizin olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 kitap okuma al\u0131\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n gitgide<br \/>\nk\u00f6reldi\u011finin de bir ispat\u0131 bu ara\u015ft\u0131rma. Reklamdan tutal\u0131m haberlere, haberle\u015fmeden bir \u00e7ok faydal\u0131 mecraya kadar<br \/>\nkullan\u0131lmas\u0131 laz\u0131m gelen bu sahan\u0131n g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz d\u00fcnyas\u0131nda i\u00e7timai zararlara yol a\u00e7t\u0131\u011f\u0131 hakikatini,<br \/>\ne\u011fer belli bir gaye \u00e7er\u00e7evesinde kullan\u0131l\u0131rsa zararlar\u0131n\u0131n \u00e7ok \u00f6tesinde bir fayda verebilece\u011fi<br \/>\nihtimaliyle birlikte de\u011ferlendirelim. B\u00f6yle bir veri ile kar\u015f\u0131la\u015f\u0131nca ilk sorulmas\u0131 gereken ise bizce \u201cinternet\u201din \u201cbilgi\u201dyi nas\u0131l<br \/>\nve hangi \u015fekli ile sundu\u011fu olmal\u0131; \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc internet arama motorlar\u0131nda pe\u015finde ko\u015ftu\u011fumuz her<br \/>\nzaman yeni bilgilerdir.<br \/>\nSay\u0131s\u0131z fikir ve ilim adam\u0131n\u0131n k\u00fct\u00fcphaneler dolusu eserler vererek bize \u201canlatamad\u0131\u011f\u0131\u201d bir<br \/>\n\u015feyi, be\u015f dakikada internetin bize verebilece\u011fini sanmak maalesef g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz d\u00fcnyas\u0131n\u0131n ve<br \/>\n\u00f6zellikle gen\u00e7lerin en b\u00fcy\u00fck yan\u0131lg\u0131lar\u0131ndand\u0131r. \u0130nternet bize yeni bir bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131 yahut kavray\u0131\u015f<br \/>\nbi\u00e7imi vermez; orada rastlad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z \u201cBilgi\u2019dir.
