Son y\u0131llarda \u0130svi\u00e7re\u2019deki European Graduate School\u2019da dersler verdi. \u0130talya, Meksika, Brezilya, Japonya, T\u00fcrkiye gibi \u00fclkelerde eserlerinin b\u00fcy\u00fck bir b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc terc\u00fcme edilmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p>Modern toplum \u00fczerine \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma yapan sosyologlar, \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131nda modern toplumun ortaya \u00e7\u0131kard\u0131\u011f\u0131 de\u011fi\u015fimleri ve de\u011fi\u015fimlerin beraberinde getirdi\u011fi sonu\u00e7lar\u0131 ele al\u0131rlar. Eserin m\u00fcellifi Baudrillard, modern toplumun tahlilini \u201ct\u00fcketim\u201d \u00fczerinden yapm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Eserin birinci b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcne \u201cNesnenin Bi\u00e7imsel Lit\u00fcrjisi\u201d ad\u0131n\u0131 vermi\u015ftir. \u201cLit\u00fcrji\u201d kelimesini \u00f6yle geli\u015fi g\u00fczel kullanmam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Geleneksel toplumlarda t\u00fcketim, nesnelerin de\u011fi\u015f toku\u015fu veyahut nesneye kar\u015f\u0131 de\u011ferli bir madenin kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131k gelmesi \u015feklinde yap\u0131l\u0131rd\u0131. \u0130nsanlar, ihtiya\u00e7lar\u0131 kadar harcama yaparlard\u0131. T\u00fcketimin amac\u0131 ihtiya\u00e7lar\u0131n giderilmesiydi. Modern toplumda ise t\u00fcketim bir k\u00fclt\u00fcr hatta bir din h\u00fcviyetine b\u00fcr\u00fcnm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Baudrillard da lit\u00fcrji kelimesini, t\u00fcketimin din h\u00fcviyetine b\u00fcr\u00fcnmesi ile ili\u015fkilendirmi\u015ftir. Peki t\u00fcketim bir din midir? T\u00fcketim bir din ise, bu dinin mensuplar\u0131 kimlerdir, rit\u00fcelleri nelerdir?\u00a0 \u0130\u015fte eser t\u00fcm bu sorular\u0131n cevaplar\u0131 \u00fczerine bina olmu\u015ftur.<\/p>\n<p>Ge\u00e7ti\u011fimiz g\u00fcnlerde \u201cBlack Friday\u201d (Kara Cuma) ad\u0131 verilen bir t\u00fcketim \u00e7\u0131lg\u0131nl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ya\u015fand\u0131. \u0130ndirimler, kampanyalar ve reklamlarla insanlar\u0131n odaklar\u0131 bu g\u00fcne \u00e7evrildi. Neden ismine Cuma ad\u0131 verildi? Neden Cumartesi, Pazar de\u011fil de Cuma? Bu ismin konulmas\u0131nda M\u00fcsl\u00fcmanlar\u0131n m\u00fcbarek g\u00fcn\u00fcn\u00fc lekeleme d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesinin yatt\u0131\u011f\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131kt\u0131r. Ancak olay\u0131 ba\u015fka bir pencereden ele almak gerekirse:<\/p>\n<p>Allah, Cum\u2019a Suresi\u2019nde \u201cEy inananlar! Cuma g\u00fcn\u00fc namaz i\u00e7in ezan okundu\u011fu zaman Allah\u2019\u0131 anmaya ko\u015fun; al\u0131m sat\u0131m\u0131 b\u0131rak\u0131n; bilseniz, bu sizin i\u00e7in daha iyidir.\u201d buyurmu\u015ftur. \u0130\u015fte bu \u201cBlack Friday\u201d sapk\u0131nl\u0131\u011f\u0131, Allah\u2019\u0131n \u00e7a\u011fr\u0131s\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131 bir \u00e7a\u011fr\u0131d\u0131r. Allah, o g\u00fcn insanlar\u0131 huzuruna davet ederken,\u00a0 t\u00fcketim dini de mensuplar\u0131n\u0131 lit\u00fcrjiye yani t\u00fcketim dininin toplu rit\u00fceli olan harcamaya davet etmektedir. Her bat\u0131l dinin d\u00fc\u015fman\u0131, hak din \u0130slam oldu\u011fu gibi t\u00fcketim dininin d\u00fc\u015fman\u0131 da \u0130slam\u2019d\u0131r. B\u00f6yle bir sapk\u0131nl\u0131k i\u00e7in Cuma g\u00fcn\u00fcn\u00fcn se\u00e7ilmi\u015f olmas\u0131, asla tesad\u00fcf de\u011fildir.<\/p>\n<p>\u00d6rnekten de anla\u015f\u0131laca\u011f\u0131 \u00fczere, Baudrillard\u2019\u0131n eserinde t\u00fcketimin de\u011fi\u015fen yap\u0131s\u0131na yapm\u0131\u015f oldu\u011fu vurgu, hi\u00e7 de yersiz de\u011fildir. T\u00fcketim art\u0131k yaln\u0131zca ihtiya\u00e7lar\u0131n giderilmesi de\u011fildir. T\u00fcketim bir k\u00fclt\u00fcr, bir din h\u00fcviyetine b\u00fcr\u00fcnm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. \u0130nsanlar yapt\u0131klar\u0131 t\u00fcketim sonucunda toplumda yer edinebilmektedirler. Bu y\u00f6n\u00fcyle t\u00fcketim, toplumsal bir stat\u00fc g\u00f6stergesi haline gelmi\u015ftir. Marka giyinen, pahal\u0131 arabaya binen, e\u011flenceye daha fazla para ve zaman harcayabilen insan, modern toplumda stat\u00fcs\u00fc y\u00fcksek insand\u0131r. Modern toplumda yer edinebilmek ad\u0131na insanlar sistemli olarak t\u00fcketime y\u00f6nlendirilmektedir. Bu y\u00f6nlendirmenin birincil akt\u00f6r\u00fc reklamlard\u0131r. \u0130nsanlar\u0131 sat\u0131n almalar\u0131 y\u00f6n\u00fcnden cezbedebilmek ad\u0131na reklamlar, zihinleri s\u00fcrekli bombard\u0131mana t\u00e2bi tutmaktad\u0131r. Reklamlar t\u00fcketim toplumunun g\u00fcd\u00fclenmesi a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan \u00f6nemli bir yere sahiptir. Televizyonlar, internet siteleri, ak\u0131ll\u0131 telefonlar, otob\u00fcs duraklar\u0131, ma\u011faza vitrinleri vb. her yer reklamlarla doludur. \u0130nsan nereye baksa, nereye d\u00f6nse, zihnine \u201ct\u00fcketmen gerekiyor\u201d mesaj\u0131 verilmektedir. Ancak t\u00fcketerek, t\u00fcketim toplumunun bir ferdi olabilirsin. Ancak t\u00fcketerek toplumda bir stat\u00fc elde edebilirsin.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00fcketim toplumunu ayakta tutan \u015fey yoksulluk korkusudur. \u0130nsanlar yoksul kalma korkusu ile s\u00fcrekli para kazanmak i\u00e7in \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131rken kazand\u0131\u011f\u0131 paray\u0131 ise bollu\u011fu elde edebilmek ad\u0131na harcamaktad\u0131r. Bolluk ise kitle ileti\u015fim ara\u00e7lar\u0131\u00a0 eliyle s\u00fcrekli kutsanmakta, bolluk i\u00e7inde ge\u00e7en hayata methiyeler d\u00fcz\u00fclmektedir. T\u00fcketim sistemi insanlar\u0131 s\u00fcrekli bir bollu\u011fun i\u00e7ine \u00e7ekmeye \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaktad\u0131r. Ancak Baudrillard\u2019a g\u00f6re as\u0131l bolluk modern toplumda de\u011fil geleneksel toplumlarda ya\u015fanmaktad\u0131r. \u00a0\u015e\u00f6yle ki:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cBiz sadece bollu\u011fun g\u00f6stergelerine sahibiz. Devasa bir \u00fcretim ayg\u0131t\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6n\u00fcnde yoksullu\u011fun ve k\u0131tl\u0131\u011f\u0131n g\u00f6stergelerinin pe\u015finde ko\u015fuyoruz. Ama yoksulluk diyor Sahlins, ne mal miktar\u0131n\u0131n d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck olmas\u0131na ne de basit anlamda ama\u00e7larla ara\u00e7lar aras\u0131ndaki bir ili\u015fkiye dayan\u0131r: Yoksulluk her \u015feyden \u00f6nce insanlar aras\u0131ndaki bir ili\u015fkidir. \u0130lkellerin g\u00fcvenini yaratan ve a\u00e7l\u0131kta bile bollu\u011fu ya\u015famalar\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flayan nihayetinde toplumsal ili\u015fkilerinin \u015feffafl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131kl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131d\u0131r. Bu nas\u0131l olursa olsun, do\u011fa, toprak, emek ara\u00e7lar\u0131 ya da \u00fcr\u00fcnlerinin tekelle\u015ftirilip de\u011fi\u015f toku\u015flar\u0131 engellememesi ve k\u0131tl\u0131k getirmemesi olgusudur. Her zaman iktidar\u0131n kayna\u011f\u0131 olan biriktirme de yoktur. Arma\u011fan ve simgesel de\u011fi\u015f toku\u015f ekonomisinde mallar s\u00fcrekli olarak birilerinden di\u011ferlerine ge\u00e7ti\u011finden d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck ve her zaman s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 bir mal miktar\u0131 genel bir zenginlik yaratmaya yeter. Zenginlik mallara de\u011fil, ki\u015filer aras\u0131ndaki somut de\u011fi\u015f toku\u015fa dayan\u0131r.\u201d<\/em> (s. 77).<\/p>\n<p>Baudrillard\u2019a g\u00f6re nesneyi, ve t\u00fcketimi elinde tutan, iktidar\u0131 da eline alm\u0131\u015f demektir. Hal b\u00f6yle olunca bolluk ne kadar fazla olursa olsun, iktidar\u0131 elinde tutanlar ne kadar kullanmaya izin verirse, di\u011fer insanlar ancak o kadar kullanabilirler. Geleneksel toplumlarda ise mal biriktirme yoktur. Herkes ihtiyac\u0131 kadar harcar, nesneyi bir iktidar unsuru olarak kullanmaz. Ayr\u0131ca insani ili\u015fkilerin \u015feffafl\u0131\u011f\u0131 neticesinde cemiyette g\u00fcven duygusu do\u011far. Modern toplumda nesnel bolluktan s\u00f6z edilse de hi\u00e7 kimse kendini g\u00fcvende hissetmez. G\u00fcvensizlik had safhadad\u0131r. \u0130nsanlar g\u00fcvensizlik i\u00e7inde hayali bir nesnel bollu\u011fun pe\u015finde ko\u015farlar.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00fcketim toplumu, g\u00fcc\u00fcn\u00fc h\u0131zdan almaktad\u0131r. De\u011fi\u015fimin s\u00fcreklili\u011fi ve h\u0131z\u0131, insanlar\u0131n bu h\u0131za ayak uydurma \u00e7abalar\u0131 daha fazla t\u00fcketimi beraberinde getirmektedir. \u0130nsan kullan\u0131m\u0131na sunulan\u00a0 nesneler, yenisi \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131nda cazibesini kaybetmektedir. De\u011fi\u015ftirilmeyen ve t\u00fcketime feda edilmeyen her nesne, eskimi\u015ftir. Yerine yenisinin koyulmas\u0131 zorunludur. T\u00fcketim toplumunda de\u011feriniz, ortaya koydu\u011funuz fikir, sanat nisbetinde de\u011fil de\u011fi\u015fim h\u0131z\u0131na ne kadar ayak uydurdu\u011funuz ile \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fclmektedir. De\u011fi\u015fimin gereklerini yerine getirebildi\u011finiz \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde de\u011ferlisinizdir. De\u011fi\u015fime kar\u015f\u0131 duran, t\u00fcketim \u00e7ark\u0131na \u00e7omak sokan, ihtiyac\u0131 kadar harcama yapan insanlar, t\u00fcketim toplumu taraf\u0131ndan \u00f6tekile\u015ftirilir ve de\u011fersizle\u015ftirilir.<\/p>\n<p>Modern toplumun bir di\u011fer t\u00fcketim nesnesi, metala\u015fan bedendir. Bedene bir kutsiyet atfedilmekte, cinsel bir obje olarak sunulmaktad\u0131r. Erkekler taraf\u0131ndan arzulanan bir kad\u0131n bedeni ya da kad\u0131nlar taraf\u0131ndan \u00e7ekici bulunan erkek bedeni, t\u00fcketim toplumunun bir di\u011fer stat\u00fc g\u00f6stergesidir. Bedenin daha \u00e7ekici k\u0131l\u0131nmas\u0131 ad\u0131na yap\u0131lan harcamalar her ge\u00e7en g\u00fcn artmaktad\u0131r. Beden \u00fczerinden oynanan bu oyun daha \u00e7ok kad\u0131nlar \u00fczerinde etkisini g\u00f6stermektedir. <em>\u201cG\u00fczellik kad\u0131n i\u00e7in mutlak, dinsel bir buyru\u011fa d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc. G\u00fczel olmak ne do\u011fa vergisi ne de ahlaki niteliklere bir ektir. Ruhlar\u0131na oldu\u011fu gibi y\u00fczlerine ve hatlar\u0131na \u00f6zen g\u00f6sterenlerin, temel buyruk\u00e7u niteli\u011fidir. G\u00fczel olmak i\u015f d\u00fcnyas\u0131ndaki ba\u015far\u0131 gibi, beden d\u00fczeyinde se\u00e7ilmi\u015f olma g\u00f6stergesidir.\u201d<\/em> (s. 168). <em>\u201cT\u00fcketim toplumu i\u00e7inde kad\u0131nlar, g\u00fczel ve \u00e7ekici olmaya zorlanmaktad\u0131rlar. \u00c7ekicili\u011fin art\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 ad\u0131na bir\u00e7ok kozmetik \u00fcr\u00fcn, makyaj malzemesi, cerrahi m\u00fcdahaleler t\u00fcretilmi\u015ftir. Di\u011fer nesneler gibi, kad\u0131n bedeni de t\u00fcketim \u00e7ark\u0131n\u0131n bir di\u015flisi\u00a0 haline gelmi\u015ftir. G\u00fczellik satt\u0131r\u0131r. Kad\u0131n\u0131n ailesine ay\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131 zaman\u0131n, evlat yeti\u015ftirmesinin, toplumun temelini olu\u015fturan ailenin merkezinde olmas\u0131n\u0131n rasyonel bir kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 yoktur. B\u00f6yle olunca evde oturan kad\u0131n\u0131n t\u00fcketim toplumuna bir getirisi olmaz. T\u00fcketim toplumu i\u00e7inde kad\u0131n, mutlaka \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmal\u0131, ailesine ay\u0131raca\u011f\u0131 zaman\u0131, kazanarak, harcayarak ve bedenini g\u00fczelle\u015ftirerek ge\u00e7irmelidir.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00fcm bunlar\u0131n \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131nda toparlamak gerekirse: Baudrillard, eserin sonu\u00e7 b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnde t\u00fcketim toplumunu \u015feytanla anla\u015fma olarak nitelemektedir. \u015eeytanla anla\u015fan modern toplumun fertleri art\u0131k ger\u00e7ekleri g\u00f6remez vaziyettedir. T\u00fcketimin ve bollu\u011fun b\u00fcy\u00fcs\u00fcne kap\u0131lan insan, asli g\u00f6revlerini unutmu\u015ftur. \u0130nsan\u0131n asli g\u00f6revi nesneleri kutsalla\u015ft\u0131rmak de\u011fil, ruhunu \u0131slah etmektir. Bu hususta Evliya\u2019dan bir zat \u015f\u00f6yle buyurmu\u015ftur: <em>\u201cRuhun mayas\u0131 ar\u015f\u0131n nurundand\u0131r, bedenin mayas\u0131 topraktand\u0131r.
