Ayasofya\u2019n\u0131n tekrar asl\u00ee h\u00fcviyetine d\u00f6nd\u00fcr\u00fclmesiyle beraber kendime; \u201cNe kadar \u0130stanbullu\u2019yum?\u201d diye sormaktan kendimi al\u0131koyamad\u0131m. Hakikaten de tarih boyu me\u015fhur, milletleraras\u0131nda \u015f\u00f6hreti hi\u00e7 azalmam\u0131\u015f, peri masallar\u0131ndaki mek\u00e2nlara ta\u015f \u00e7\u0131kartan, efsanelerin mevzuu, krallar ve padi\u015fahlar\u0131n g\u00f6zdesi bu \u015fehri ne kadar iyi tan\u0131yoruz? M\u00fctefekkirler, falanca muharrirler, ayd\u0131nlar\u0131n roman, \u015fiir ve fikirlerinin ba\u015f tac\u0131 bu \u015fehrin yabanc\u0131s\u0131 olmayal\u0131m? Albert Camus kadar olmasa da, biz de birer \u201cYabanc\u0131\u201dy\u0131z. \u0130stanbulluyuz g\u00fcya&#8230; \u0130stanbul derya biz i\u00e7indeki minik bal\u0131klar gibiyiz. Arada hafakanlar bas\u0131yor, ba\u015fka \u015fehirleri ziyaret ediyor olsak da, sonras\u0131nda soluksuz kal\u0131yoruz, ba\u011f\u0131ml\u0131s\u0131y\u0131z \u0130stanbul\u2019un.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ayasofya ve S\u00fcleymaniye<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Refik Halid Karay, \u201cg\u00fczel\u201d ile, \u201cal\u0131ml\u0131-sempatik\u201d aras\u0131ndaki fark\u0131 \u00e7ok g\u00fczel belirtmi\u015ftir: \u201cKad\u0131na g\u00fczellikten ne anlad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 sorarsan\u0131z hemen kendini d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcr; bir erkek ise sevgilisini hat\u0131rlar, artistin akl\u0131na gelen yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 heykeller ve resimlerdir; bir filozof ise bir \u015feycikler diyemez, \u015fa\u015f\u0131r\u0131r kal\u0131r! G\u00fczelli\u011fin \u2018th\u00eaorique-nazar\u00ee\u2019 bir taraf\u0131 yoktur; ancak tarih bak\u0131m\u0131ndan tarifler yap\u0131labilir. Zira her \u00e7a\u011f kendine g\u00f6re bir g\u00fczelli\u011fe sahiptir.\u201d Yine ona g\u00f6re, bir devrin g\u00fczel buldu\u011fu \u015fey ba\u015fka devirlerde de g\u00fczel g\u00f6z\u00fck\u00fcyorsa, hakikaten g\u00fczelmi\u015f&#8230; Bu adam, \u0130stanbul\u2019u can-\u0131 g\u00f6n\u00fclden sevmi\u015ftir. \u00d6yleyse \u0130stanbul\u2019un \u201cg\u00fczel\u201d birka\u00e7 mabedinden bahsetmek l\u00e2z\u0131m. Her ne kadar, bir semtten ba\u015fka bir semte ge\u00e7erken yar\u0131m saatlik bir zaman yolculu\u011funda, bizi \u00e7ileden \u00e7\u0131kartan, sabr\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n ayar\u0131yla oynayan insanlarla kar\u015f\u0131la\u015fsak da bahtl\u0131 milletiz. \u00dcsk\u00fcdar\u2019dan, Emin\u00f6n\u00fc\u2019ne ge\u00e7erken Ayasofya Camii ile Topkap\u0131 Saray\u0131\u2019n\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fcr\u00fcz. Bahtl\u0131y\u0131z ki, Ayasofya gibi d\u00fcnyan\u0131n en heybetli mabedlerinden birinin kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131na eli bo\u015f \u00e7\u0131kmam\u0131\u015f\u0131z, ona yeniden m\u00e2n\u00e2 ve ruh atfederken, S\u00fcleymaniye, Beyaz\u0131t ve Sultanahmet gibi g\u00f6z kama\u015ft\u0131r\u0131c\u0131 eser-mabedlerle destekleyip, s\u00fcsleyebilmi\u015fiz.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Caddebostan ile Bostanc\u0131<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bahsetti\u011fimiz g\u00fczellikler her ne kadar benli\u011fimizi, de\u011ferlerimizi hat\u0131rlatsa da; eksik bir \u015fey var. \u015eahsen \u0130stanbullu olman\u0131n hakk\u0131n\u0131 vermedi\u011fimi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcyorum. Caddebostan\u2019da gezen birisine, buran\u0131n bir zamanlar ad\u0131n\u0131n Cad\u0131bostan\u0131 oldu\u011funu ve bug\u00fcnk\u00fc Bostanc\u0131\u2019ya vaktiyle Bostanc\u0131 Ba\u015f\u0131 denildi\u011fini s\u00f6yledi\u011fimizde hayrete d\u00fc\u015febilir.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Beyo\u011flu, \u015ei\u015fli ve Ni\u015fanta\u015f\u0131<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Peki ya Beyo\u011flu?.. Be\u015fikta\u015f isminin bundan dolay\u0131 kullan\u0131lageldi\u011fi s\u00f6yleniyor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>S\u0131rada Pendik<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bizans d\u00f6neminde her taraf\u0131 surlarla \u00e7evrili m\u00e2n\u00e2s\u0131ndaki \u201cpantecion (pantiki)\u201d kelimesi, bug\u00fcnk\u00fc Pendik\u2019in eski ismi. \u0130stanbul\u2019u Do\u011fu\u2019dan gelebilecek muhtemel sald\u0131r\u0131lardan korumak i\u00e7in bir t\u00fcr savunma hatt\u0131.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mimar Sinan\u2019dan Sonra&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mimar Sinan\u2019\u0131n deh\u00e2s\u0131 ve \u015f\u00f6hreti herkesin malumudur. Onun \u015fairane hayat\u0131, \u0130stanbul halk\u0131n\u0131 etkiledi\u011fi gibi memleketimizin d\u0131\u015f\u0131ndaki insanlar\u0131 da tesiri alt\u0131nda b\u0131rakm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Peki ya Mimar Sinan\u2019dan sonra onun ulv\u00ee g\u00f6revini \u00fcstlenen z\u00e2t? Onun kim oldu\u011fundan haberimiz var m\u0131? Ka\u00e7\u0131m\u0131z bunu biliyoruz? Tamam onlar gibi olam\u0131yoruz, bize b\u0131rakt\u0131klar\u0131na hayretler ediyor, vecdle bak\u0131yoruz. Filvaki g\u0131pta etti\u011fimiz ki\u015fi, her kim olursa olsun, onlar\u0131n mertebesine ula\u015fam\u0131yorsak g\u0131pta ile y\u00e2d etmemiz gerekir. Erdemli olmak bunu gerektirir. Mimar Davud A\u011fa, Sinan\u2019\u0131n talebesidir. T\u00fcrkiye Diyanet Vakf\u0131\u2019n\u0131n ansiklopedisinde Davud\u2019un nereli oldu\u011fu, hangi tarihte d\u00fcnyaya geldi\u011fi tam bilinmiyor. Davud A\u011fa\u2019n\u0131n Hasbah\u00e7e\u2019deki mimarl\u0131k mektebinden yeti\u015fti\u011fi zannediliyor.\u00a0 Koca Sinan\u2019\u0131n tezg\u00e2h\u0131ndan ge\u00e7mi\u015f. 1575\u2019lerden 1582\u2019ye kadar \u00e7e\u015fitli naz\u0131rl\u0131k g\u00f6revleriyle Osmanl\u0131\u2019ya hizmet etmi\u015f.<\/p>\n<p>TDV\u2019deki bahisten bir iktibas: <em>Suyolu n\u00e2z\u0131r\u0131 oldu\u011fu y\u0131llarda D\u00e2vud A\u011fa\u2019n\u0131n Halkal\u0131 su yolu hakk\u0131nda zengin bilgiler ihtiva eden bir harita \u00e7izmi\u015f oldu\u011fu, 992 (1584) tarihli ve 0,25 \u00d7 3 m. \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcs\u00fcndeki bu haritan\u0131n Hikmet Bey taraf\u0131ndan asl\u0131ndan yap\u0131lan bir kopyas\u0131n\u0131n \u0130stanbul Sa\u011fl\u0131k M\u00fczesi\u2019nde oldu\u011funu Saadi Nirven tesbit etmi\u015ftir. Ayn\u0131 haritan\u0131n di\u011fer n\u00fcshalar\u0131 Topkap\u0131 Saray\u0131 M\u00fczesi K\u00fct\u00fcphanesi\u2019nde (Hazine, nr. E. 12.481 [Nuri Arlasez ba\u011f\u0131\u015f\u0131], 0,32 \u00d7 2,11 m. \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcs\u00fcnde) ve Millet K\u00fct\u00fcphanesi\u2019nde (nr. 930, 0,27 \u00d7 2,86 m. \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcs\u00fcnde) bulunmaktad\u0131r. Haritalar\u0131n kenar\u0131nda \u015fu sat\u0131rlar okunmaktad\u0131r: \u201cMerhum ve ma\u011ff\u00fbr\u00fcn leh Sultan III. Murad s\u00e2b\u0131kan Suyolu n\u00e2z\u0131r\u0131 olan \u00fcstat D\u00e2vud\u2019a it\u00e2b-\u0131 az\u00eem edip, sen benim suyumu nereye verirsin dedikte ol dahi ale\u2019t-ta\u2018c\u00eel bu k\u00e2rn\u00e2me-yi ac\u00eebi peyd\u00e2 etmi\u015f. Hud\u00e2 te\u00e2l\u00e2 her ikisine dahi rahmet eyleye, \u00e2min, Zilkade 992.\u201d Sultan Murad ile D\u00e2vud A\u011fa bu \u00e7izimde rahmetle an\u0131ld\u0131klar\u0131na g\u00f6re, haritan\u0131n asl\u0131 992\u2019de (1584) \u00e7izilmekle beraber, III. Murad\u2019\u0131n 1595\u2019te, D\u00e2vud A\u011fa\u2019n\u0131n 1598\u2019de \u00f6ld\u00fc\u011f\u00fc dikkate al\u0131n\u0131rsa mevcut n\u00fcshalar\u0131n \u00f6l\u00fcmlerinden sonra meydana getirildi\u011fi anla\u015f\u0131l\u0131r.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Davud A\u011fa 1952\u2019den itibaren belgelerde mimarba\u015f\u0131 olarak zikredilmi\u015ftir. 1582\u2019te Sar\u00e2y-\u0131 H\u00fcm\u00e2yun\u2019da bir oda ve bir de hamam yapm\u0131\u015f. III. Murad buray\u0131 be\u011fendi\u011fini s\u00f6ylemi\u015ftir. 1588\u2019de Hassa ba\u015fmimar\u0131 Koca Sinan vefat etti\u011finde yerine onun yard\u0131mc\u0131s\u0131 olan D\u00e2vud A\u011fa tayin edildi. A asofya haz\u00eeresindeki b\u00fcy\u00fck t\u00fcrbelerden ikincisi olan, Sultan III. Murad\u2019a ait t\u00fcrbenin mimar\u0131 olarak genellikle D\u00e2vud A\u011fa\u2019n\u0131n ismi zikredilmektedir. Fakat bu yap\u0131da bir kap\u0131 kanad\u0131 \u00fczerinde Dalg\u0131\u00e7 Ahmed A\u011fa\u2019n\u0131n ad\u0131na rastlanmas\u0131 \u015fa\u015f\u0131rt\u0131c\u0131d\u0131r. Baz\u0131lar\u0131, her iki mimar\u0131n da bu t\u00fcrbenin yap\u0131m\u0131nda hizmetleri olabilece\u011fine ihtimal verirler. \u00c7ar\u015f\u0131kap\u0131 semtinin Divanyolu Caddesi\u2019ndeki Koca Sinan Pa\u015fa K\u00fclliyesi de D\u00e2vud A\u011fa taraf\u0131ndan yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00e2vud A\u011fa\u2019n\u0131n yap\u0131m\u0131nda hizmeti olan \u00f6nemli bir eseri de Sultan III. Mehmed\u2019in annesi Safiye V\u00e2lide Sultan i\u00e7in yapt\u0131rmaya ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131, Emin\u00f6n\u00fc\u2019ndeK\u0130 Yeni V\u00e2lide veya k\u0131saca Yeni Cami ad\u0131yla tan\u0131nan cami ve k\u00fclliyesidir. Safiye V\u00e2lide Sultan, \u0130stanbul Liman\u0131 giri\u015finde bu caminin in\u015fas\u0131n\u0131 Hassa ba\u015fmimar\u0131 D\u00e2vud A\u011fa\u2019dan istedi ve temeli 10 Muharrem 1006\u2019da (23 A\u011fustos 1597) at\u0131ld\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Bu vesileyle \u0130bda Mimar\u0131 Salih Mirzabeyo\u011flu\u2019nun hayat\u0131nda derin bir iz b\u0131rakm\u0131\u015f Cevad \u00dclger\u2019den de bahsedelim. Zira kendisi \u201c\u00c7a\u011fda\u015f Sinan\u201d olarak bilinir, bir musiki\u015finas, ressam ve mimard\u0131r. \u201cRitmin G\u00fcc\u00fc ve Ritme Davet\u201d diye ehemmiyetli bir kitab\u0131 vard\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i Efsaneleri<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u0130ki efsane: \u00c7at\u0131\u015fan kayal\u0131klar ile Argonodlar seferi.
